About Ananda Mama Midwifery
Ananda is an ancient word that means “bliss” in Sanskrit. I’m Kaleen Foster LM, CPM, and it is my goal that your birth will be an experience you would describe as blissful!
Established in January 2020, Ananda Mama Midwifery provides holistic and evidence-based Well Woman, Prenatal, and Postpartum Care, as well as breastfeeding support. Based in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, we attend home births all over the Inland Empire.
We are dedicated to ensuring that we provide our clients with evidence-based care.
What does that mean? It means that as a provider, I stay up to date on the latest research and evidence, so that I may provide you with true informed consent.

We serve the greater Inland Empire, Mountain Communities, and High Desert, which includes most of San Bernardino and Riverside Counties. I live in the beautiful San Bernardino Mountains, and our office is based in Redlands.

Assuming we have availability for your birth month, we can start prenatal care as soon as you know you are pregnant! No need to wait until 10-12 weeks, as in the typical medical model of care.

The total package for prenatal care, home birth services, and postpartum care is $7,400. We do offer some discounts and payment plans, so be sure to ask about those during our initial conversation.
We can provide a super-bill to your insurance for possible reimbursement. We can also connect you with a billing specialist who may be able to assist you in this area, depending on your plan.
